A recycling company is looking for a few people willing to commit to paying $12 a month for recycling service in Suffolk.
TFC Recycling has almost reached its Earth Day goal of getting 3,000 households to sign up for “Big Bin” recycling.
The Chesapeake-based company will provide participants with a recycling container, similar to the trash containers the city provides.
Participants will be able to dump a wide variety of materials into the cans from cardboard and mixed paper to plastic and glass bottles. The materials will be picked up twice a month on trash day, according to a representative with the company.
